Étienne, auteur de bande-dessinée autobiographique, raconte sans honte, mais avec beaucoup d’humour, son manque d’adéquation à la vie en société. S’il fallait établir un portrait-robot du mâle occidental incapable de s’engager dans une relation affective, égocentrique, radin et obsédé sexuel, l’image obtenue ressemblerait sans doute fortement à Etienne.
Etienne, author of an autobiographical comic strip, unashamedly, but with a great deal of humor, recounts his lack of suitability for life in society. If we had to draw up a composite portrait of the Western male who is incapable of committing himself to an affective relationship, egocentric, stingy and sex-obsessed, the resulting image would undoubtedly bear a strong resemblance to Etienne.
